I am so happy to get to share what we are seeing and doing with all of you! I can just hardly contain myself! First off, paise God we all got here safely and with ALL of our luggage. The He spent most of the time in the bathrooms and asleep, bad time to have the flu. Our hotel is beautiful and very homey. The boys slept fine and woke up early. The coffee press survived the trip so we had great coffee this morning.
We went out for breakfast this morning and I felt like we were in a movie. It is just unbelievable the difference from being home. Almost everything is in English and most people know just enough English to get by. The city is just wild. Lots of people and chaos but no one seems to mind a bit. Traffic is a free for all, literally, no rules what so ever. That will take some getting used to! Abigail and I had a ball grocery shopping, the market is similiar to our grocery stores but add in some completely random stuff. Vendors out side sell snails and cooked bugs (yummy) and just about everything else you can think of. James keeps pointing out different cars and pickups, some are really old, others to new to look right around here. I did nothing but gawk the whole time we were in the tuktuk, I couldnt even get pictures! The people are really into Ryans white skin and freckles. They love freckles! They talk to him and touch is face. At first he was a bit shy but now he is all about the attention. The weather is a balmy 80 degrees or so and feels so nice.
Yay, you're there! I really am jealous. Give the boys hugs from Auntie Shanni. All's well here. No messages. Horses and cats are all fine. Love you all!!!!
