I have been asked a few times if I am going to blog while we are in Cambodia again. I am taking it as a compliment that people actually want to see what is going on over there and read my ramblings! Thank you for the vote of confidence!
The Plan: We leave Wed night November 11 from San Francisco for Phnom Penh. We are going to be there until December 1. We have several apartments rented for our rather large group, consisting of Aaron and Katie Wessler and their 3, Shelby Grassman, and Stan and Lori Adams. Nathaniel Roth is already at work over there, we are excited to see what he is up to. He is staying in the same building we are as well.
We Hope: To help at Sovanapoom Care, building, repairing, teaching, reading, speaking and having fun with the kids there. To spend time with a few other people who are spending their lives in this country, looking for ways to be used by the Lord. We want to hear their stories and see what they need to be able to keep going in their ministries. To see and help the children in the city that are so affected by the enormous poverty.
We are not sure what God is going to add or delete from our trip. We are going as servants, anxious to see where He leads.
We go as extensions of so many that have contributed though prayer and finances. Thank you for all who remember to pray for us while we are away. We serve a Mighty God who deserves Honor and Praise throughout the world. We are blessed to be a small part of this plan.
My heart is over there with you all! I hope all goes well and you have another God filled trip. I'll be praying for safety for you all! Oh yeah, Logen knows that Shelby is in "Bodia" and asked this morning where Kenden was. I told him Cambodia with Shelby. He now thinks he needs to be in "Bodia" with them! Love you all, Courtnie
