Salvation In Cambodia

Tonight, after a talk about why we are here, Ryan asked how he could be sure he could go to Heaven. I told him he needed to pray and ask Jesus to forgive his sins, then he needed to serve God with the rest of his life. He was so excited and wanted to pray right away. James led him while Abigail and Kenden and I prayed along. As usual, I was a bit misty. I am so thankful for my family, for Jesus Christ whom we serve, and all that we are able to experience while we are here. God is so good to us.

  1. Wow!! Praise be to God over your family. We all pray that our children will grow up to become Christians, and pray, and pray. Be misty all you want. This is one of those recordable 'prayer came true' days!!! We miss you all tons. Austin is now rolling across the floor, Kaylyn is praying for "her peoples" and tells us "I go see" you guys in Cambodia. Oh to have no concept of time and space.... We check in daily to see how you all are doing. We, too, look forward to seeing the progress on the playground and to your stories. Hopfully health has returned to you all. TukTuk's sound like a roll of the dice. Amazing Race in real time. We were glad you made it back to the hotel in on piece! The only thing the story was missing was a good monkey. That would hae taken it over the top! But on the other hand, it sounds like you might have had one driving at one point?
Be strong, Be Blessed, enjoy and keep touching all those around you.

  2. I'm a little misty eyed myself reading this. Wow! Jess is excited too. We pray for our nephews and nieces every day, above ALL that they will love God with their whole hearts. What an answer to prayer. Glad, for the most part, you are all better. We pray for your health there daily. Love you all!
